Romanov Weave

The name of this weave hints at maybe having connections with the Romanov Dynasty, but we have researched and although Anastasia Romanov liked to weave ribbons there seems to be no real connection.

The Romanov weave is a Byzantine variant created from rosettes, each Rosette is made up of two units of byzantine, sometimes, sandwiching a bead. We have used this several times whilst creating our jewellery. This is an example of some Sterling Silver Romanov Earrings created a while back.

Another Romanov design created in the past was a nod to birthstone jewellery.  This one has aquamarine, swarovski crystals nestled in the middle of the sections.  Other colours can be created, please just ask for details.
